Activating GCC

To activate the GCC from RCC GANIL, you need to declare that GCC is running on dedicated host:port.
For this you have to fill the two fields GCC and Port when generating the configuration file through dedicated web page.

When Topology manager is running on scgw1, here are the infromation to fill:
  • GCC : 193.48.111.4
  • Port : 8007
When Topology manager is running on scgw2, here are the infromation to fill:
  • GCC : 193.48.111.4
  • Port : 8008

Requirement when using GCC

The directory /agatadisks/USER/EXPERIMENT is mandatory, where USER is he name of the GANIL user used to generate topology and EXPERIMENT is the experiment name choosen when generating topology.

In this directory you should have a directory called zWorkingDir, with:
  • gen_conf.py
  • Conf directory confifigured to your wishes !

Launching GCC

For the moment, you have to connect on scgw2 as gcc (standard agata password), and:
  • in screen called BRIDGE, launching bridge with the following command :
. /opt/pem/bin/pem-source -c
. /opt/pem/bin/pem-source -e dcod -d /opt/pem -r agata
./repository/gcc-bridge-dev/build/x86_64/bin/server_gcc
  • in screen called GCC, launching gcc with the following command : LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/home/gcc/local/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH ./local/bin/server_web_enx GCC.conf
