Description

Hi,

Alarms for non-production nodes are appearing on the ROD dashboard (operators view). This is actually compliant with what is explained in [1].

Since as ROD we may/have to close these type of alarms as "service is not in production", does it make sense to have them exist in the ROD dashboard?

Cheers,
Pablo.

  • Release set to 3.2.2

Hi

Currently we have a system of triggers associated to the insertions of notifications coming from nagios.
These triggers check different things : status of the site , if the alarm is in the operation list , if the alarm is sent by the correct entity (nagios) ...
Then everything is captured . We use the flags generated within triggers for the display (monitoring view or operators view) .

For this case

1) we have to capture all services in DB . I need to check the capacities of the DB .
2) modify the trigger to check in the table the status of the service . This part is tricky .
3) Add the usage of the flag in the view

My only concern is that the trigger becomes more and more complicated . I hope it will continue to be enough efficient to capture notifications .
