crocus_file_validator should be able to react to boot result of a Crocus
a boot value for -c option
should inhibit -init file loading

the parsing of crocus_version_file may be cast in the same mold...

The renaming of parseCrocusVersion to crocus_version_file, as well as a more compact reporting of Crocus version has some relevance indeed.
